If I could rate the course on the Google review a zero, I would. I have played golf all over the South, and Capstone is the third worst course I have played. The worst and second worst are closed, so this place is the worst I know of that is still in business. I played it 9-26-13 and the greens were so horrible that literally the course should have been closed. Four temporary greens, but all 18 should have been temporary. And it wasn't just the greens. Capstone looks like a golf course that has been abandoned. The neglect and disrepair are everywhere. If you are looking for a place to play between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, go to Bent Brook near Bessemer or Ol Colony in Tuscaloosa. Don't make the mistake our group made by wasting four hours on a golf course that should be closed.
