I went there for banquet as a guest and it was absolutely amazing... I have lived in the area since 1996 and have never actually been inside until this day and the ambiance was impeccable all around! I strongly suggest visiting as well as sitting in the back area on the boardwalk to watch the sunset!

Also, nearby Fairhope is an amazing town, also full of very friendly locals. I’m not sure what’s in the water over there, but everyone I’ve ever come in contact with is very kind and well mannered.

The hotel manager and the security team (Spencer!) were phenomenal, and worked with me to get my jewelry safely back to me. They have a personal touch that is sadly lacking in most hotels these days. The Grand hotel is real throwback days gone by (we stayed in the historic main bldg), but still offers all the amenities and luxury. I highly recommend visiting this place and the nearby town of Fairhope. It is really a charming area.
