Kokopelli's Restaurant at Gold Canyon Golf Resort

I stopped in to grab takeout lunch for my wife and I and was so impressed! The food was really delicious and prices are very reasonable. What really caught my eye was the vibe of the place. The indoor space was bright and modern, and the outdoor area looks like a perfect spot to relax during the evenings. We’ll definitely be back for weekend cocktails. Highly recommend checking them out.

The outdoor patio is where you want to be! We arrived just after sunset on a Wednesday and were seated right away with great views and great service. The steaks we ordered were flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the local beer on draft was a huge plus. We were staying nearby and were thankful for such a close gem! If you’re hiking/staying in the Gold Canyon area, definitely hit up the patio at off times for a great seat. Sounds like it’s pretty popular at prime dinner time which is a sign of a good restaurant (IMHO).

It was Valentine's Day so they were probably busy early in the evening but not full when we were there. The room was very loud, hard to converse with even the person next to you. The food was delicious, a bit pricey considering how uncomfortable loud it was. The service was poor. When the food was brought every plate was given to the wrong person. It was so confusing that one person in our party didn't get her food. We had to find our server and tell her. We didn't see our server again for a long time. We had to ask other passing servers for salt and pepper, more water, desert menus and a to go box. The server took our desert order while holding dirty dishes from another table. The server was pleasent enough just very bad. We had to ask again for our desert after several minutes.
