The cabins are beautiful! The pool was perfect temperature. the hot tub was also the perfect temperature and being able to stargaze while sitting in it made for the perfect end to our day! All of the guests were very nice and very quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting a cabin on the lake!!
First, the good... The house was modern, had plenty of bedding, a fairly well-stocked kitchen, and a nice layout. Maintenance was also quick to respond. Now the bad ..The stairs have been eroded and were splitting apart-- SUPER DANGEROUS! They told us they would be fixed before we arrived but hadn't been touched. They were also very dark at night. The light was out and we had to replace it with a light from a lamp, but even a better bulb would not have been enough to light the stairs. The railings (inside and out) were all very rickety. There was a shower head missing in one of the bathrooms and a broken toilet seat in another. How the cleaning crew didn't catch that, I have no idea. There are mice (we saw one scurry across the floor and run under the washer/dryer and would hear it in our room at night). The house was cleaned but there were still droppings behind beds, dressers, etc. that wouldn't be reached with a normal cleaning. The pool was GREEN and hadn't been cleaned in awhile. They did treat it for us after we called them, but it was never really clear. This wasn't a super big deal for us, but one of the dryers also wouldn't dry. Unless some improvements are made, I would not recommend staying here.
There was more than enough room for our family, with plenty of hot water and privacy. The common areas allowed for our group to gather and visit, watch sports, and play board games brought with us. The environs encouraged outdoor walking to Kings River. Grocery stores were available nearby so that we could add to our provisions. We had a lovely time! The two kitchens were stocked with adequate numbers of dishes and cutlery for our crew, too.
