What people say about (KC Wheel)

The location has a nice view of downtown, plus you can see the WW1 memorial pretty well. Otherwise, it isn't exactly on a beautiful waterway and is kind of wedged between highways and in a commercial / industrial area. Not the most scenic of spots. The staff were pretty friendly. The Farris wheel pods were air-conditioned and reasonably comfortable. I think they circled you about three times. The prices aren't exactly low, but little kids and babies under three are free. Plus they have the occasional sale which might make it more reasonable. They had a mini golf course on site. It looked pretty flat and linear, while also being pretty much entirely exposed in the sun and concrete without shade .. so might be worth checking out on a really nice day or evening. We skipped it this time around, so I can't give a concrete rating on it being worthwhile or not. They have a parking lot partially under the freeway, so there is some sheltered parking from the extreme heat or rainy weather. But, not a bad way to spend a little chill time with some family or friends.

Decent amount of turns for the money. The view is pretty neat, the staff was helpful, friendly and engaged. It was also very nice because it was so air-conditioned and breezy you didn't feel like you were closed in. The mini golf could use some shade and it's not a super exciting course but it was a fun way to kill a little bit of time. 10 out of 10 would go back maybe at night. I bet it's stellar with all the lights.

Nice experience. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth the price, $17.50 per adult is pretty pricey for a 4-5 rotation ride. Maybe 10 minutes in total. The wheel is air conditioned and has seats on both sides. There is disability accessible ramps up to the wheel and a handicap accessible space to ride on the wheel. Our particular space smelled like dog, unfortunately . We did manage to get a few good pics. It swayed a bit more than I expected, not as much as a fairground wheel but more than bigger wheels I’ve been on around the USA. There is a mini putt putt below the wheel and a small vendor selling items. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, probably won’t return but a good one time experience, I guess.
