Lake Almanor West Golf Course

I drove to the course from the Bay Area in my electric vehicle with a couple of buddies for a weekend of golf. Charging options in the area are extremely limited. We found a slow charger in Chester, and I asked the staff at the pro shop if they could pick us up at the charging station the next day and bring us to the golf course, and return us to the charging station after we finished our round. They immediately agreed to accommodate my request. The golf course was in excellent condition, and the staff was extremely helpful, especially Kim and Hope.

Great course! Really enjoyed the layout and amazing views thru the trees. The different tee box's (white front/blue back), make each 9 unique and offer different challenges. Some holes are a little narrow so fair way shots are rewarded. Will definitely be back.

Almanor west grill at the lake almanor west golf course: stopped in for lunch on the patio. We had the Philly cheese steak, Reuben fries and the pickle fries. Also ordered, the cheese curds, but not pictured. Probably one of the best cheese curds we've had. I had higher hopes for the Reuben fries, but the fried pickle spear were amazing. The philly cheese steak and patty melt got got 2 thumbs up from the teen age boys. My fried food extravaganza paired nicely with the draft 805. I recommend visiting this summer for lunch.
