Hillsborough Racquet Club

It was a great pleasure working with the HRC as the venue for our family engagement and birthday parties over the past 2 years. The staff couldn't have been more gracious or helpful, always checking in to make sure any of our questions were answered and providing suggestions to make the events as seamless as possible. The setting was beautiful--old world elegance--where our guests could enjoy refreshments on the patio before moving into the main ballroom for dinner. We had a pianist at the events and opened the French doors between the patio and ballroom, allowing the music to be appreciated in both locations. The Hillsborough Racquet Club is a lovely, lovely hidden gem for a special occasion; one your guests will fondly remember for years to come.

Our non-profit organization hosted a luncheon and bridge tournament at the Hillsborough Racquet Club in September for ~100 guests. Every aspect of the event was perfect. The venue is just stunning and is centrally located. The rental fee was very reasonable, and the number of rooms makes the venue quite versatile. The outdoor entry patio is welcoming and elegant, and the easy parking made our guests very happy! The site manager, Cindi Fleming, was great to work with and made a number of helpful suggestions for our event. She was an excellent resource throughout the day. We used our own caterer, Michiyo Lappen of Vienna Catering to provide the lunch service; she was also a joy to work with. The food was excellent, and our guests were very happy with their meal. The Hillsborough Racquet Club is a beautiful space that lends a timeless backdrop to any event. Not only does it maintain an air of history, but it can also be transformed to fit the occasion at hand. The rental fee was very reasonable for what you get in return. Plus, they were a pleasure to work with. Their communication was timely and I always felt that I could pick up the phone and give them a call. You cannot go wrong hosting your next event at HRC.
