I golfed here with a friend who lives close to the course. The course is in good shape. The practice green area and bunkers are great. Nice spot to practice chipping and sand shots. The main driving range is a little strange. You hit off of grass, which is nice. However, if you are on hole 12 tee or 17 green, you could definitely get hit with a practice ball from the range. They should probably put up posts and netting to protect people. They do have some chain link fences up, but it doesn't seem like it's enough. The course itself is in good shape now. Greens are nice and roll pretty true. My main complaint is the starter and pro shop allowing groups of 6 golfers out together. This slows the pace to a snails pace. We quit early as we were on pace for a 6 hour round. There is no marshall on the course to keep it moving. The group of 6 in front of us was horribly slow, sometimes taking over 20 minutes to finish a hole. They were also putting 2 balls each. Very frustrating. They weren't the only group of 6 we saw on the course. I'd hesitate to go back here, especially on the weekend. The bar is nice and the food was good.
We were there for a memorial service for our daughter in law's mom and they did a great job. Our heartfelt thanks to them all
Nice course to play. The way to the next hole could marked better. Very friendly staff.
