Wee Burn Country Club

I wish I could give it zero stars because I feel it does not even deserve one. For one, it is not exclusive at all. For two, it was not a pleasant experience dining there. They had a few younger waiters who were excellent, and I have not seen them since. Instead they opt for waiters who barely speak any English, they are not socially up to our standards, and do not understand how to act when serving fine dining. The young American waiters with blue eyes and curly hair was so polite, so kind, gentle, and a really nice guy with a future in engineering. He was a bright spot, but instead they give the shifts to the other fellas who don't even acknowledge us at all. I would NOT recommend, especially for the younger people like me who have a young family and want to raise them to be kind.

As a wedding photographer, I work at many clubs throughout New England and the Tri-State area. Wee Burn is without a doubt one of the superior clubs in Connecticut. The staff works with each couple to ensure a seamless flow, every detail is looked after. The club on the beach , and their club in Darien, each have a certain flare that is memorable and wonderful. Every event I've worked at here has been nothing short of perfect!

Visited a fundraising dinner. The place was crowded even if it was comfortable, not too packed. There could have been more staff for the event as I found the service lacking somewhat. The food was good and I am giving my praise to the kitchen.
