Eagle Ridge Golf Club

I was excited about Eagle Ridge until I pulled into the parking lot and saw the driving range is a cage 50 yards long. $8 for a bucket, shame on you. The course has quite a bit of water and plenty of trouble. Tee boxes need some love. I didn’t care for the course, but maybe you will. Friday 10:45 tee time, 4 hours 20 minutes. Not terrible but we waited a lot.

Played an afternoon round here on the perfect Saturday afternoon. Staff was friendly and on point upon arrival. Checkin was a breeze. Free bucket of ‘range’ balls provided although it’s just a few swing mats into a larger netted area for some warmup swings. The overall course conditions were fair for this time of year (Early February). It is a fairly tight course off the tee, approach shots are more forgiving. Tee boxes were in fair to good shape and most had flat areas with nice turf. The fairways were well kept, but it was soggy somehow despite the lack of rain. I played pick, clean and place as just about every tee ball was a mud ball and many approach shots. Most greens were in good shape and putted nicely. Small alligators, local birds (Blue Herons, and egrets) and turtles littered the water hazards throughout. It was a very peaceful and speedy (3:48) round. IMO maybe not quite worth the going rate but I played for $65 and it was worth that. Will play again!

Great course! Greens were perfect! Shot an 89, pretty good for me 😆. There were a lot of players out on the links but for the most part everyone kept moving. I don't like rushing through and I don't like having to wait at every tee box. Everyone moved at a good pace. …
