College Park Golf Course

I hade a few hours to kill at the airport. I read the reviews about the staff not being nice, but my experience was completely different. The lady working the Pro Shop was amazingly nice. Then the Marshalls around the course were fun and engaging. Tried to keep the groups in front of us moving along. The course layout was great. Greens are very small and difficult. The course was not in great shape. However, it was worth the $14 to walk 9 holes. If I come back to the area and have a few hours to kill, i will definitely come back.

BEST VALUE 9 hole course for daily practice and fun. Wonderful and always friendly service, while never packed Monday through Thursday. The weekends can get a little jammed up, but not to worry, you can still get your game on. I visit, not often enough, but enough to know I can count on College Park Golf Course to help me improve my game! PROS: Clean, maintained well and inviting views. Employee’s very helpful, always pleasant and ready to work – making your visit most pleasurable. The course is challenging in many ways: Long game, short game, uphill, downhill and over the water. Helps get your short game right and allows for you to pull out your driver once or twice during play. I would suggest this course to my family and friends… CONS: Bathroom needs a little attention to bring it up to ‘par’ with the rest of the course’s beauty. SUGGESTIONS: Drop a few coins on getting the bathroom updated – the investment will be worth it. I would love to see a ‘monthly pass’ - where you pay one monthly price, somewhere around $80 for unlimited visits for local players. There is a market for it, it would help the course out a lot and regulars would invite and suggest new players more often!
