Little White House Historic Site

Just imagine walking in 100+ years of history!! Simply amazing!! There is so much to see and so much information to be absorbed on the works of FDR!! The staff is very knowledgeable and ready to share. There is a short film to watch (about 12 minutes) and I strongly encourage you to do so. The admission fee is $13 plus tax, and there is a nice gift shop after your tour. The museum, the grounds, and the Little White House are all immaculately preserved. Definitely worth going...

The Little White House was a wonderful experience to have for people of any age. The perfect preservation of the house and quarters allows people visiting to step back in time and experience what President FDR lived through when visiting Georgia. The curators were incredibly informative and helped me to feel as though they knew him personally and as if I were actually in the peak of WW2 as he struggled with his impeding issues and yet pressed onward to leading the Allies against their Axis adversaries. The ability to see and understand who he was is an experience that textbooks alone simply cannot offer. I highly recommend anyone with a peak of curiosity or hunger for knowledge and history to visit this lovely landmark and historically preserved treasure to the American People. You will not regret it!

It was an emotional experience, because of the story of the brave people and with a lot of respect for each of them for being heroes. I really admire the work group, warm, intelligent, very kind, patient people. I am leaving with a beautiful experience, thank you!
