What people say about (Johnson Park Disc Golf Course)

Kyle Spitzley

A beautiful course with lots of challenging holes. Constant up and down terrain, it’s a great workout. We went at 7am and the course was empty. There are 18 holes, all pretty clearly marked. There are blue and green signs that say “next tee” with an arrow, but they all end up pointing the same way. I never figured out if the color mattered.

I love this disc course. It is really well marked and clearly laid out. The baskets are good and it has a good balance of challenge and fun. Definitely good for beginer-intermediate level. The course is usually pretty busy and has plenty of players on it. I have always had a good time here. Would highly recommend.

Tough course. Not long by any means, but lots of up and downs. Really tight course, even this time of year (late April) when it's not even bloomed yet. Trees can be unforgiving. That all being said, it's one of, if not THE most diverse in terms of shots you need in your bag. Well maintained on the course, but the lot is under construction right now, so there's no parking. Hopefully that'll be done at some point this year. For now you'll have to park along the road. No other facilities right now either. Potty ahead of tims. All in all, worth it...but might suck on a really hot day.
