The course was severely damaged in November/December of 2019. Trees were allowed lay on the fairways and the pandemic finished the place off. Navy MWR has finally managed to kill off this course. It is closed. Bad management, lack of customers and bad course conditions took the best course in Meridian in 2001 and finally killed it. What a shame...and Navy MWR could care less.
At best, mediocre. Rough is too high, greens were dead. Swamp in the Hole 8 fairway. It's getting better though...so I am giving them a 3.
Just poor service. That's all I heard from everyone that's been there but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Chow runs is all they're good for (being on the base) and they won't allow you to use anyone elses cards, they don't label the food at all, we got 7 breakfast burritos... ALL different and how did we know who's was whose? By unwrapping them... Disgusting. And even when you ask them please number them or something they won't do it.
