The best course in the Madison-Jackson area. It is well maintained and the holes present a reasonable challenge while still being reasonable. I prefer the front 9 but still enjoy the back 9. Excellent pro shop with a dining area as well. Putting practice area and driving range are right out front.
I played my first round at Lake Caroline in early November. What a beautiful course. And, yes, the course was full, but the pace was very reasonable. By downloading the Randy Watkins Golf Group app onto my iPhone, I was able to keep the pace of play moving. The app is great. Exact GPS yardages by simply touching the screen on my phone. Greens and fairways were in wonderful shape. The links design makes playing fun but challenging.
I've played here since this course was originally built years ago and just recently played it, and it's better than ever!! Highly recommend.
