Briarwood Golf and Swim

The golf course is nice. The gentleman who runs the pro shop is the best. So if you’re just golfing, you’ll have a great experience. The pool, however, is a different story. It’s older and unkempt and the “boss lady” in charge seems to be way more concerned with her “boss lady” status than she is with what the bylaws actually say… or about making sure the pool area is clean and presentable….. or that restrooms don’t look like a scene from a horror movie…. or about having the grass around the pool mowed or treated for insects. The pool, unfortunately, is just a bad experience and she makes a not-very-nice-to-begin-with situation even worse. We dropped our membership, being sure to give the proper notice, yet she still “forgot” to stop our billing for July: So we payed the additional month, then she called last week to rudely explain that our membership would expire on the 25th of July, even though we paid the full $198 on July 1st. If only she strove to be as business savvy as she did to be a big, bad boss lady, perhaps things would be different. Perhaps there wouldn’t be chiggers, ticks, and mosquitos running amuck. At any rate, the golf course is nice and the gentlemen in the pro shop is a true professional.

Great breakfast,buffet style.nome it and they have it,from salads to fried green tomatoes. Pork chops were tasty and dessert bar was great

Played in Six man Scrambled as guest. Course was in great shape and the scrambled was well organized. Lots of fun.
