What people say about (Grand Old Golf & Go-Karts)

Roger Whittaker

Yes this place rocks. The staff were super nice and helpful. We did the wrist band and we're able to play the two longest courses and a couple of times on the go cart before the two hours was up. We will certainly be back and with more people. Thanks!

First: -Bumper Cars did not appear to be functioning at the time of my visit. -I did see a family enjoying the Go-Karts, my party and I just did not decide to go that route on our visit. -We went on a Thursday afternoon. It seemed to be a slow day. There were a couple people doing mini-golf and one family using the Go-Karts. * The mini-golf was fun, and I loved the variety of having three courses to choose from (easy, medium, hard). But, the water around the holes was over grown with weeds, and the grounds are not kept up with at all, with overgrown weeds and grass. there was a lot of bending around overgrown trees when rounding corners. A lot of the green was ripped up on multiple of the holes. Multiple of the holes were missing the plastic cup as well. There was mud surrounding several of the holes so if the ball was accidentally hit out you got your hands dirty. There is also one spot where you must follow a certain color “paw-prints” on the ground to your next hole, and it was hard to keep track of due to the paint being faded and the path was unclear in some spots. I feel like this place has a lot of potential, and being literally right around the corner from The Grand Ol Opry you’d think it be a little more maintained.. But - I thought the prices were very reasonable. They also have a pass where you can have unlimited mini golf, go-karts or bumper cars for I believe $40 which isn’t bad. It was less than $25 for two people for mini-golf. It was a great activity my husband and I did while we waited for our time slot for a tour at the Grand Ol Opry. There is also a place for ice cream/refreshments randomly in the middle of the mini golf course for a break. Overall - I would go back. Convenient location and great prices. It is just a little unfortunate that the grounds aren’t a little more maintained.

Sure people comment that there are some repairs needed , but they have a crew that’s been working on it daily replacing all the benches a lot of the older decks re-doing the carpet on the greens making it a whole lot more presentable ! It just takes time! They have trimmed all the hedges and bushes and cleaned out a whole lot!! It is really starting to come around !!! it’s still a very cool place to Putt Putt Golf!!!
