What people say about (Pebble Brook Golf Course)

Based on some very critical reviews, I believe this course has greatly improved their playing conditions. My buddies play every weekend and play courses all over middle Tennessee. This was a very fun course and had its share of challenges. We sincerely had a good time and we plan on coming back. I am not discounting other people's reviews but today's round was great. Needs a little TLC around the on the greens and tee-boxes but so do a lot of courses we play that charge $25 more in greens fees. So you sign a waiver to use the golf carts - really, what's the big deal? The staff was friendly, the parking was ample and wide, the carts were strong, and the course was fun/challenging! Thank you, Pebble Brook.

Played here Monday 6/30 because a friend told me they’d improved their conditions. The conditions have improved to be at least passable but are still not great. Confirmation email said $36.45, apparently that doesn’t include tax, and was charged $15 extra cart fee because I wanted to go out by myself since I was the first time of the day, which I felt was pretty unreasonable. So the result was paying $55 at 7:00 on a Monday which was too much, although to be fair if you don’t want to get your own cart then you could play for pretty cheap. Was told not to play 17 if the cart path was wet, which it was, so I didn’t. Was offered to play another hole on the front nine, but I didn’t really see the point in backtracking to play a hole I’d already played. I think that rates should be discounted if an entire hole is rendered unplayable, but oh well. They also took my credit card information down on file which was odd; I guess they do that in case of cart damages? According to a worker cart accidents happen “all the time” so I think they should invest more into safety measures such as a guardrail or lights in the tunnel, instead they just force you to sign a waiver accepting all responsibility for damages. There’s no putting green and the driving range was closed cause of a little rain. The clubhouse is very barebones, the gps locators seemed to be malfunctioning and the carts would beep randomly on the cart path. If you want a place to play cheap, no frills golf, it’s serviceable for that purpose. Otherwise, I recommend exploring other options in the area.

Terrible. Worst course in TN. Charged $65 for round, $10 range balls and lost $20 worth of balls in the fairways. $100 day. Not a single green is in condition to putt. Terrible carts. They are so worried about you signing a liability waiver because they want you to pay for their broken carts. Didn’t even accelerate. Staff had no idea how the course looked and no breakfast items at 7 AM. Young man was respectful at the front. Do not waste your money here. Top clubs in Nashville and the muni’s don’t even cost this and are at least worth it. These owners are taking advantage of everyone and anyone that goes here. Avoid at all costs. See photos below. I have pictures from every green, and they don’t think it constitutes a refund. Haha.
