The gentleman working at the pro shop was nice. Tee time was 7:40 but we arrived at 7 to hit some practice balls. Found out that the range was closed since it hadn't been mowed. He allowed us to go ahead and tee off earlier. We found out very quickly that nothing else had been mowed. When you pipe one straight down the fairway and can't find it, you have a problem. If you're just off the green it's a chore to find the ball. If you miss the fairway you might as well kiss that ball good bye. It has great potential to be an awesome course, but doesn't seem like the City of Beaumont wants to put money into it. Hopefully something will change but the way the city works, I doubt it.
This was the worst golf course I have ever played at. No joke. Fire ants everywhere. The greens were awful…I wouldn’t even call them greens. This was the trashiest course I’ve ever been to. It was a waste of time and honestly a waste of my $29. The person that was working there was nice though. There’s that. 🤷♂️ …
This place is already sketchy enough with the area it’s in, and the experience was made even worse by a guy that was named after a damn fish(I’m pretty sure he’s the guy I recognized from the bowling alley that I absolutely hated). I was just trying to take my girlfriend golfing, but he kept us waiting 25 minutes and by the time he got to us, he was very rude. We ended up walking out and finding another golf course because we weren’t dealing with his attitude. I don’t know what his problem was, but it definitely ruined any chance of us coming back.
