The Country Store which shares a building with the POA Offices is a great little Country Convenience Store for the Westwood Shores community. It has many things you might need for country living. Miss Carol who runs the store is very kind and accommodating. Love it!!

So much to say about this POA board. They hand out property violations like handing out candy on Halloween. While I haven't had the opportunity to interact with some of the staff as people on here have said to have had poor interactions with, I actually just have an issue with not actually talking to your residents and instead just shooting off violation notices which reflects poorly on the leadership. I can't get into the details bc I am positive it would identify myself. And from reading the other reviews it would not be beneficial. I'm about to drive around and take pictures of POA properties that are out of compliance as there are a ton. Not that they would GAF, but it would showcase thier hypocrisy. Pro tip: talk to your residents before shooting off citations... You don't know what's going on in their world. People are leaving this community for a handful of reasons. Some are related to the MUD's asshattery, which won't be discussed here. But yes as others have said amenities are bountiful but the price you pay for them not up keeping roads, taking pictures of violations directly after a big storm (or 3), and having to go to a community mailbox to get mail is unsat for the fees. Can I recommend living here? Not unless you have power and money to force the arm of the POA into doing basic things like thier job... Check a cross the lake there are several other more viable communities.
