Country Club Apartments

Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. They opened multiple accounts under my name and would charge me multiple times for one apartment. They would leave my eviction notices every single month due to the multiple accounts. For nearly 10 months my ac was not working and they only put in a single window unit when I told the office I would report them to oklahoma disability. The entire time I lived there my dishwasher did not work either. The week I gave them my notice to move out they immediately fixed the ac and the dishwasher. They have now turned me into collections for “failing to provide 60 days prior to leaving” when I left a 60 30 and 10 day notice. The day I turned in my keys I told them that appliance warehouse would be there to pick up the washer and dryer in the morning and they told me that if I left anything in the apartment, they could not let appliance warehouse in and the apartment complex would keep it so appliance warehouse would come after me for the charges. In reality, I should be going after them for the multiple months where my amenities were not met and the multiple payments of rent were charged in my name. Due to them, I now keep documentation of everything and started to my second month living here from noticing they would charge me twice

I am only giving 1 star because it won't let me give 0 stars. RUN! Do not rent from these crooks!!! When I moved in 5/26/23 my apartment smelled terribly of dog or cat urine. So bad I couldn't stay there because it would make my eyes burn. The office staff (whom are all no longer there) refused to do anything about it. I offered to replace the carpet on my own dime, and they would not let me. They told me to put baking soda down and it would pull the odor from the carpet. When I did that there was yellow baking soda coming up to the surface EVERYWHERE. You could see it was urine stains everywhere. They finally agreed to replace the pad and put the same pissy carpet back down. They insisted that this would get rid of the smell. I had to rent a uhaul to move all my furniture out so that they could replace the pad. The carpet was still nasty. For the year I lived there I could not walk barefooted in my own apartment because it would leave a film on the bottom of your feet. When Lillie Garcia took over as manager, I had her come to my apartment to look at my carpet because the previous staff would never come into my apartment. Lillie listed to everything I said and assured me that she would document my account that the carpet would not be my responsibility upon moveout. After I moved out, I received a moveout check list that showed balance due by tenant was $0. That was in June of 2024. In January of 2025 I received a notice from FCO Collections that I owe $914. I contacted them and Lillie. Lillie said she remembered everything I had originally told her, and that she'd talk to her manager to get my account cleared. She then came back to me and said, "the amount owed is correct." I still never received anything showing what the $914 was for. Today, 4/29/25, FCO sent me the move out check list they have, and it is completely different than the one that Country Club sent to me! This should be ILLEGAL!!!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE APARTMENTS!

I have been here for going on a year and a half. The previous owners were the absolute worst. They had drama, played favorites, and did nothing for community engagement. The new owners have made a huge difference! The new management (Lillie and Lisa) are awesome and our maintenance guys (Nate and James) have always been awesome. I love these apartments and I love our staff.
